My, členovia Košice IT Valley a predstavitelia spriatelených firiem v Košiciach, sme sa rozhodli založiť transparentný účet, s cieľom pomôcť miestnym zdravotníckym a sociálnym zariadeniam a spoločne tak prekonať pandémiu koronavírusu.
Cez transparentný a prehľadný systém financovania by sme chceli pomôcť zabezpečiť chýbajúci zdravotnícky materiál pre nemocnice, domovy sociálnych služieb a iné marginalizované skupiny ľudí v regióne východného Slovenska.
Táto iniciatíva je otvorená pre každého, kto sa chce pridať a pomôcť.
IT sektor patrí medzi odvetvia slovenského hospodárstva, ktorým sa dlhodobo darí. Len v Košiciach v ňom pracuje 15 000 ľudí. Aj napriek tomu, že sa cítime rovnako ohrození blížiacou sa finančnou krízou, je čas, aby sme prispeli aj my svojou troškou.
Napriek úsiliu mnohých, na východnom Slovensku nemocnice a sociálne zariadenia bojujú s nedostatkom základných zdravotníckych pomôcok a vyčerpaním personálu. Oceňujeme nasadenie všetkých zdravotníckych pracovníkov, ktorým však dochádzajú nielen sily, ale aj základný zdravotnícky materiál.
Chceme pomôcť Slovensku zvládnuť toto ťažké obdobie a prostredníctvom finančnej alebo materiálnej pomoci doplniť chýbajúci zdravotnícky materiál tam, kde chýba.
Táto iniciatíva vznikla na základe podnetu členov klastra Košice IT Valley a jej priateľov.

We, the Košice IT Valley members and representatives of the affiliated companies in Košice, want to help local health and social facilities to overcome the coronavirus pandemic. In this regard, we decided to open a transparent account.
Through a transparent system of funding, we would like to help ensure the missing medical supplies for hospitals, social services homes, and other marginalized groups of people in the Eastern Slovakia region.
This initiative is open to anyone who wants to help.
The IT sector is one of the segments of the Slovak economy that has been doing well for a long time. Fifteen thousand people work in the IT industry in Košice alone. Even though we feel equally threatened by the impending financial crisis, we think that it is time for us to help as well.
Despite the efforts of many, in Eastern Slovakia, hospitals and social facilities are struggling with the lack of essential medical devices and the exhaustion of staff. We appreciate the commitment of all healthcare workers, who are not only missing the strength but also primary medical material.
We want to help Slovakia to deal with this challenging period by offering financial or material assistance and providing missing medical material where it is needed.
This initiative is launched by the members of the Košice IT Valley cluster and its friends.
